" Die Bemalungen / The paint works
For my Templates of the Fw-190 A3 and the Fw-190 A5 I have created beside the respectivly Alpha Channel also a Bump Map File, which suited my paintschemes better than the original one. So, download the file and replace the original file FW190a3.dds or file FW190a5.dds in the game file in the shown path. I have included the full path in the zip-File, so you can directly copy them to the game path and overwrite the old content (Backup included).
The offical Bump Map (2k) is included as ORG file in the "Original" folder in the download!

men´mbers of JG 1 and will present also the Bf-109 and later Fw-190 birds

This Focke Wulf 190-A2 was flown by Oberleutnant Max Bucholz
during Sommer 1942 and sported the red "Tatzelwurm", an ancient german
kind of dragon on both sides of the cowling together wit a red thin spiral
on white ground at the tip of the spinner. He was captain of the fifth squad
and one of his officers was Leutnant Erich Buchholz and
therefor their planes are often interchanged.
But only the "Black 1" sported Max Bucholz personal
symbol a black and white sea gull painted on both sides of the fuselage. In
addition "Black 1" was always the personal plane of Bucholz during his
career.

This Focke Wulf 190-A3 was flown by Oberleutnant Detlev Rohwer
das captain of the sixth squad of JG 1 during Sommer 1942 and sported a
yellow "Tatzelwurm", an ancient german

Here the article in the magazine "Luftwaffe im Focus, Edition

plane a Bf-109 F2 in my section presenting Messerschmitts
of JG 1 & 3. There I give som more information about him and his personel

Remarkable are the three stripes in RLM 75 on the starboard fuselage
which was not repeated on the left side!

Johannes "Bulette" Rathenow
flew this Focke
Wulf 190 A3 during summer time in 1942. Peter Rodeike could finally
corrected that the "Devil over Clouds" code of armour which was sported by JG 1
was indeed coloured red in front of an orange sky with white clouds. This
planes showed the symbol very clear together with the "Malteser" Cross
of I./JG 1.
The plane was well photographed after his victory over a Boston
two engine bomber during an RAF raid at the airfield Bergen op Zoom, which
was the first arial victory of the new build IV./ JG1.
